Alice studied graphic design (BA&MA) at The National university of Arts from Bucharest, Design Department. She works as freelancer for the moment.
SPECIFIC
At the crossroads between art and design, she attempts to seek out as many different means of visual expression as possible by experimenting with various technologies. She is drawn to book design, paper and craft, things she combines with new technologies.

2019 // Possible Lexicon
"Possible Lexicon" is a bank of scanographic images depicting various split between two platforms: digital and analog. This book contains a selection from the digital archive.
The project appeared as a consequence of these experiments of transforming the visual information from an analogue medium to a digital one and the other way around, resulting in final, less conventional images of familiar subjects.
This process resembles to the process of translating a word from a language to another and this is how the format of the project appeared, reminding of an encyclopaedia of images. The purpose was not to present a generally accepted image, but to investigate possible
visual interpretations.
