HISTORY
Alina Andrei writes stories and takes pictures. Sometimes, she tells stories for grown- ups, using paper-people that she photographs. Her stories get on walls, on the internet or in some fanzines and self-published books, in limited edition.
ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES
2016 // Unknowns that are kissing on the street, while you don´t
It is a book in limited edition, printed at the Copy Center in the corner of the street, on cheap paper (the kind of paper you don´t regret when you splill coffee on it). Paper-people photographed as real people, in scenes that the author witnessed with her own eyes, over the years. Banal scenes from bus stations, markets, railway stations, parks, moments that sometimes lasted for only a few seconds. She likes to believe that it´s not a romantic story. In fact, they don´t tell you what happens after those kisses- people go on living their banal lives, with electricity and gas bills to pay, with fights and make-ups, on their way to work or to school.
