HISTORY
Anca-Ioana Cretu, born on 26.03.1991, is an architecture student in the final year at the University of Architecture and Urbanism “Ion Mincu” in Bucharest. She is a volunteering member for ArhiPera Association since 2012, an association focused on design and on site execution, in a participatory manner, along with communities in extreme poverty.
She is a people’s person, having multiple interests and putting passion in everything she does.
SPECIFIC
Recently she has made her first steps into object design and dedicated herself to both designing and crafting the objects she imagines, feeling the materials unique needs and responding accordingly with subtle changes in the designs.

2016 // "Cretu&Cretu" Stool
"Crețu&Crețu" Stool gathers the passion for architecture and people in one piece designed with care for Arhipera Chair Design campaign of fundraising in December 2015. Challenging the natural limit of the two materials stands for the challenge of exceeding the social and spatial barrier of the extreme living environment that people have been facing in the poor communities for years and years. Through quality and participation this limit is intended to be overcome according to the ArhiPera`s paradigm.
