Graduate of BA and MA degree studies at Transilvania University Brasov - Faculty of Technological Engineering, he is also a graduate of the Vitus Bering University College Horsens, Denmark, with a BA license in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Line.
Passionate about design, after a period in various advertising fields, with his attained experience, he has approached also product design, launching the Cuplo™ illumination systems range, and the BILLIPLAY™ modular shelf system. The latest project he has launched, in December 2016, is his geometry inspired patterns and textile design collection." ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES
2017 // The graphic models and textile design collection
This collection of graphic models and textile design is inspired by the architecture of the first half of the XXth century and that of Bucharest in between the World Wars. The inspiration comes from the Bauhaus geometry and Art Deco elements that can be found in plenty of instances in many of Bucharest’s buildings facades, gates, ironwork and architectural details.
The 6 models in this collection - Art Deco, Bauhaus, Geometry, Fisheye, Chromosome and Le grand K, are available for textile design projects, upholstery and interior design. The standard color variants are petrol grey, grey and white, nuances of green, turquoise and green, but they can be adapted and scaled according to the project in various chromatic and dimensional versions of the models. The models are presented in an array of printed fabrics for upholstery projects, and also in a series of monochromatic towels, with relief models, and can be adapted also in wallpaper models, lattice work or relief applications.
2015 // Cuplo™ Alma - the lamp with a paper heart
2015 // BILLIPLAY™ - the easy and fun modular shelf system
Modular, colorful, adaptable and easy to assemble. Or how you could improve a shelf system to make it multifunctional and interactive. BILLIPLAY™ is a modular shelf system with no tools assembly that even a kid could assemble. You choose the structure elements by dimensions, the geometric sliding door models and their colors. And you put it together. Or reshape it. As easy as that.

2015 // Cuplo™ Alma - the lamp with a paper heart
Cuplo™ Alma is an interior pendant light that emphasizes the original state of the materials – the transparent glass and white paper, entwining the fragile geometry of the paper decoration with the protection of an essentially brittle material – glass. With the geometric inspiration of the Neonordics patterns, the object becomes a personal one and retro at the same time, bringing to the present day the colors and geometry of the 50’s design.
Cuplo™ Alma, similar to Cuplo™ Vasa, has a personalized interior, handcrafted of folded origami paper and a body made of borosilicate glass. The lamp is fitted with a 1.5 m long electric cable and a white plastic electric junction box.
