ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES

2019 // L'ENVOL

The creation of Constantin Brancusi is the source of inspiration for L’envol collection, where the costume follows the body lines and volumes so that they harmonize together. Always passionate about the flight, Brancusi dreamed the ascension of the sculpture beyond the Earth, to an eternal liberation. It is a passion that strives for perfection and reflects Brancusi’s aspiration to transcendence and spirituality. There was resorted to structures and volumes, redistributing the human proportions in a clear, sculptural manner that creates a three-dimensional expansion of forms that claim architectural principles. The clothing pieces, made by interventions at pattern level, compose and describe geometric shapes and signs that enhance and amplify the idea of movement. L’envol collection includes unique cuts, juxtapositions and intersections that cover volumetrically the upper body.
