Marc Borțun is a designer, art director and painter. In 2000, he Graduated UNARTE, BA in Painting. Since 2017 he is a member of Art Directors Club. Starting with 1998 he was Designer/ Art Director at Millenium Communications, Brand New Design, Saatchi&Saatchi, CAP, Cohn&Jansen. Since 2008 he has been Creative Partner at Rusu+Bortun. Marc created TWELVEOSOPHY - 12 wall clocks made out of colored Perspex, their numerals being replaced by 12 letters that forms 12 messages about time and love.

Marc created TWELVEOSOPHY - 12 wall clocks made out of colored Perspex, their numerals being replaced by 12 letters that forms 12 messages about time and love. The observation that lead to the development of the project was that, once we can understand time in the absence of numerals, we could also do it by replacing them. The concept behind the project is that the time is relative, bearing different significance for each one of us.
TWELVEOSOPHY offers you the chance to choose what your wall clock should be a reminder of, therefore customizing your relationship with time, considering your values, beliefs or your character. Still, it's not very philosophical. There is either optimism or kindness made out of 12 letter words.
