ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES
2018 // Ruumy
The Ruumy project is a basic concept that starts from the "keep" and "hide" functions that you can come across and interact with multiple elements. With this modulated object, I tried to eliminate the boundaries between many types, and design areas: interior design, object and fashion design. It can be dressing, room cover, shelter, carpet / baby cushion, various types of bags, bracelets, envelopes, purses, but also vest, skirt and other garments depending on the creativity of each Ruumy bearer.
Although it seems to be an object, "Ruumy" is actually a state of communion, an extended project in all environments in which we manifest ourselves as social beings and affective. Ruumy will create around it a community that will manifest both in physical space and online by creating a community co-design platform. Customers become collaborators in co-design, with an infinite number of users and uses.
