ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES
2019 // SS19
2018 // Coyote steals the Moon
A project inspired by one of her trips to California.
2016 // SPRING SUMMER COLLECTION
If AW15 collection was influenced by the aesthetics of Californian artist Mike Kelley, now it's an accumulation of feelings. More than ever it is about clothes. We wanted modern pieces, surprising chromatic, positive atypical association of prints. It was an experiment where I worked with pleasure. The story started from reading an article about the connection between art and camouflage which ended with the following quote: 'The one recognisable makes something unreal, the other unrecognisable makes something real.' (B. Cott)
2015 // AUTUMN WINTER COLLECTION
The collection is inspired by Mike Kelley s series of work called Kandors. This body of work is related to the fictional city of Kandor, the capitol of Superman’s home planet Krypton. According to the Superman mythos, Kandor is the only remaining vestige of the exploded Krypton, and the city is preserved, in a reduced state, in a bottle in Superman’s possession. Interestingly, the image of Kandor was never codified and the numerous representations of it in the comic book throughout the years vary widely in appearance.
