Deltacraft is an event which will explore traditions and crafts from Delta Dunării and opportunities to reinvent them in order to give a response to the contemporary audiences. Together with ethnology specialists and craftsman, designers and cultural managers will be launched the Deltacraft challenge, a project that aims to create and to obtain design objects, based on traditional techniques and elements discovered in Delta Dunarii.
The work agenda will focus over the conclusions of research study ”Traditional Crafts from Delta Dunării", realized by the Institute of Eco-museum Research from Tulcea; presentation of DeltaCraft objectives and open debate regarding the similar initiatives from Romania and across the border.

The Center for Sustainable Policies promotes the principals of sustainable development according with the public policies level from Romania, and one concrete direction of it's actions is to support local initiatives by applying principals of social economy.
The organization has established and supports two craft workshops in Letea and Lunca villages in order to promote and to develop the local traditional crafts, as knitting rush and building reed roofs.
