ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES
2018 // Artisan Collection
Artisan is a collection of small accessories and furniture pieces that draw inspiration from the furniture of the medieval fortified churches in Transylvania. Although strongly essentialized in products that answer the aesthetics and functions of modern times, the pieces of the collection embed elements of the traditional, retaining its spirit and gaining unicity through them.
The collection is a projection of past in present objects that look in both directions of time. Artisan Collection comprises of a bench, a mirror, wall hangers, a coffee table and a side table and two models of magazine holders.
2017 // A'round
A’round is a wall hanger with a simple aesthetic which results from following the function, but is also characterized by the accent on graphic details. These attributes make the wall hanger suitable for different interiors and give it versatility in use being a wall hanger that can be placed in entrance halls, bathrooms and kitchens.
2017 // Citadel
Citadel is a contemporary candleholder that makes an analogy through its name and shape to a time when candles were the only artificial source of light.
2016 // LightSection
The concept for LightSection was to challenge the traditional ceiling lamp, deconstructing it and reinterpreting it. The shade is transformed into a plane that receives the light. The light source is hosted by a cylinder that intersects the plane from an unexpected diagonal path. The lamp simplifies and molds the light and the shadow into simple geometrical shapes. Changing the angle of the lamp gives opening to shaping interiors with the use of illuminated and shaded areas. This game of light and shadow gains its maximum of aesthetic when used in groups. Every lamp is oriented and focused on different areas, creating points of interest into the interior.
