ADCE Awards exist to inspire, educate and unite, and this is why this year ADCE has invited the Ukrainian creative community to develop the Award’s communication campaign. Together with the Ukrainian club, the ADCE organized a pitch among 3 agencies: 22Buro, Leo Burnett Ukraine, and Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine. With the aim of representing ADCE spirit, as well as shedding light on this time's matter, Leo Burnett´s proposal “Big Ideas Unite Europe'', was selected as the final concept that will embody this year's Awards campaign.
Call for entries of ADCE Awards '22 are now open and the final registration deadline to submit works is October 14th. A jury made up of prominent and international leading creatives and designers from all over Europe will meet again in Barcelona on the 30th of November, at the Design Hub premises. They will be in charge of deliberating upon this year’s award winners, which will be announced on 2nd of December.
Ukrainian works will be entered for free
The ADCE Awards is the only award system that brings together the best of European award-winning work under the same competition. Because of this, participation in the ADCE Awards is exclusively given to works that have been recognized at a national level, offering them international visibility and promotion.
Winners of ADCE-affiliated national clubs competitions are eligible to participate under advantageous conditions: free entry for Gold Award winners, and reduced entry fee for Silver, Bronze and/or Shortlist. To support the Ukrainian creative industry in these difficult times, this year, all Ukrainian entries will enter for free.
ADCE’s new Award: Equal Star
The new ADCE Equal Star Award has been created this year as a recognition to a work that promotes inclusion, gender equality and fights against all forms of discrimination. It also aims to celebrate creativity that overcomes stereotypes.
The new award is inspired by ADCI’s Equal Award, launched in 2017 together with the secretariat of the Presidency of the Italian Chamber of Deputies.
Like the other ADCE special awards (the European Star-Johannes Newrkla, the Genius Loci, and the Green Star), the Equal Star will be granted to those campaigns that stand out across all ADCE categories. They can be commercially driven or done for good, have had a real impact on society, and they must be comprehensible throughout Europe.
