HISTORY
Anca studied object and industrial design at Bucharest University of Arts and at the University of Wolverhampton,UK . In 2010, she represented young Romanian designers at Milan Design Week, as a part of Elle Decoration International Design Awards. Her products were selected by Giulio Cappellini, one of the greatest contemporary Italian designers. She exhibited in London ( 2008), at the annual exhibition New Designers, where she was pre-selected among 50 designers, out of a total of 4.000 participants. She also exhibited in Kortrijk (Interieur '08 ), Graz (2012-2013), Brussels and, of course, Bucharest. She started "by Anca Fetcu" brand in 2010, when she gave up any other job and took the path of entrepreneurship.

SPECIFIC
The extreme simplicity of her products and the pragmatic thinking outline her personal style. The passion for cars, inherited from her father, brings her very close to custom design for cars. All the jobs that she had, from art direction to working with fiberglass, helped her to complete the list of abilities and to understand design from many angles.

ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES

2017 // Brushed
Anca Fetcu Lupu changes the paradigm of classical geometric mirrors, of that rigidity that often limits and depersonalizes us.
“Brushed” breaks the monotony. The free gesture of brushing alleviates and allows the "interlocutor" to accept himself and look in the mirror without fear and prejudice.

2017 // Spot On
Picasso asked "Who better reflects the human face: the photographer, the mirror or the painter?"
Made from three different shades (clear, smoky and copper), “Spot On” helps you know what you look like, to find what you did not know, admire what you could not see.
