Anca Stirbacu is a new media artist/ musician based in Bucharest, Romania.She graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Bucharest, Romania and studied at Interface Culture Linz.Her background is video and photography, participating in many video workshops, designing visual interfaces and creating sound installations. She has collaborated with HBK Saar, RoArchive, Spazi Aperti, Time's Up Linz, Atelier 35, Sambata Sonora, Spatiul Platforma, Easterdaze, Rokolectiv and Modulab.
Anca is the founder of Ro Select, a platform that gathers young & fresh romanian designers, including her own clothing line - Warp Hood. Another project is Hipdiebattery, the audio support for her visual projects and interactive installations as well as for her sound-based adventurous experiments.
