Today, to discern between two well taken photos we have to judge more than the execution, we need to start looking at style, intention, references, consistency and other more subtle values and indicators. This will be a workshop on how to integrate these new variables into our already developing method of work. It is addressed to photographers at any level, from beginners to pros, who want to explore the creative and artistic side of photography, not just the technical one —or how to put the machine to follow your vision, once you’ve discovered it.
The workshop will be split in two main parts. First we will talk and go through some theory and case studies of how to make some hard choices as an up-and-coming photographer. Then, in the second part, we will focus on a session of portraits or self-portraits (participants can choose based on their preference) to apply some of the ideas learned and discussed previously.
The Brewery, Logofat Tautu Street 68A, Floor 2.
28th of May // 10 AM - 7 PM
The Brewery is a new studio complex with two equipped studios. In one, there is a lot of natural light coming through large industrial windows. In the other, everything is grey so it’s ideal for product shots and smaller projects. We also have make up area, shower, sound systems and good coffee.
