SPECIFIC
The brand’s aesthetic is defined by clean cuts, organic textures, experimental processes, with focus on versatility and sustainability. Collections take inspiration from monastic universe, aiming to emphasize the physical covering/spiritual disclosure dichotomy. Forceful but discreet, Andra's signature pieces grow into playgrounds, for the wearers to discover and manifest themselves without intrusively distracting the viewer.
2019 // MATER
MATER, the FW20 collection, highlights the current urge humanity feels for connection. Whether it’s connection to others, to nature, to human nature itself, contemporary society faces a crisis like never before. Starting from an old proverb, “Be humble for you are made of earth”, the collection recalls an ancestral wisdom that connects us to our deepest inner selves.
2018 // Black Shelter
The garment is nowadays a support for a filtered, embellished image, a separation between the outer body and the spirit.
Black Shelter - Self-contemplation / Investigation of the idea of the garment as the sacred space of self-manifestation, targeting the sarx-pneuma relation.
Originally amorphous mass, the clothing piece becomes a latent division, which disappears when it is appropriated, it transcends the boundary between the outside and the inside (since it is worn) It becomes a binder and an integral part of the one who enlivens it, it is a material that connects , transcends the person who activates it, and becomes a support for the manifestation of the self.

2017 // BLACK HALOS
"Black Halos" captures the stages of self-exploration during the creative endeavor, process in which the color palette is reduced to black and the means of expression remains the relation volume-ratio-texture. The installation consists of five representative garments-statement objects- quintessential for the ANDRAHANDARICstudio aesthetics, associated with a series of experimental textile sculptures, conceived as a conceptual extension corresponding to each piece of clothing.
At the same time, this approach seeks to reveal the relationship between the man and the garment, questioning the manner in which the latter becomes a means of connecting with oneself. The pathway through the five conditions- anguish, platitude, reflection, release, bliss, becomes the expression of a ritual, in which black acquires positive values through catharsis.
