The collaboration between Gila Shemie Zakay Architecture & Bre. started at the beginning of 2017 as an ongoing design-oriented partnership. The two studios are constantly collaborating on interior design and architecture projects. Gila Shemie Zakay Architecture has over 20 years of experience in the architecture and design field. Bre. is a boutique multidisciplinary studio performing visual storytelling.

Located in Or Yehuda, Israel, Netivei Israel or Israel Roads is a public company that builds and maintains all of the country’s roads and infrastructure. The studio’s concept for the company’s offices was to create a space that calms the mind and helps the staff focus during their work hours. The overall atmosphere generates an environment that is professional and reliable.
An important focus point in the intervention was to create feeling of openness and transparency, they achieved that by installing 3 meters high glass partitions instead of plaster walls. The open ceiling along with multiple shades of grey dictate a space that seems boundless, thus calming the mind. Using blue and green as the accent colors, the space is in perfect sync with the company’s brand identity, as well as visually inspiring calmness, professionalism and motivation.
