SPECIFIC

ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES
2018 // La Falaise Bench
The work was largely fueled by a “primitive” form, the rock. Inspired by the cliff, natural formation in a unique contrast to the humanly fabricated roman column, resulting in a distinctive blend of modernity and timelessness.
The column style provide space to a totally different interpretation, with a simple and powerful significance: as more as “we get absorbed” into the digital, there is a need for a powerful transition towards our roots and natural. Representing a radical experimentation of materials and forms, and most complex exploration of the shades of Fern Green color. A mix of alternative materials as Jesmonite and Acrylic glass are the stars of this sculptural design piece.
La Falaise Bench is fusing as a puzzle joint with La Falaise side table.
