2018 // Kibo - Furniture as a playground
The project came as a challenge for the KUBO team, which has set out to create a multifunctional furniture for children's room. A furniture that, besides its basic role also responds to the playful demands of the fascinating world of children and also acts as a playground for them.
The furniture offers two 140/70cm beds, a slide, a blackboard, a storage space for toys with a mobile drawer/wagon with wheels, integrated bed lighting in star shape, a portable lamp which can be located in different places, climbing wall, mobile wardrobe, folding house, drawing desk with integrated paper. The upper floor is thought as a tree house and the access to it, is either on its trunk with an entrance through the crown or on the sliding ladder. The furniture was designed for the children's room but being a modular concept, it can be adapted to small, large indoor or outdoor spaces.
