ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES
2017 // THREADS OF TRADITION @ VIENNA DESIGN WEEK // STREET DELIVERY WORKSHOPS BY GRAPHOMAT & ATELIERUL DE GRAFICĂ
The collaborative project was done in one week (concept, photos, texts, layout, print, binding), when the team`s members visited 12 workshops from Bucharest where they took pictures to illustrate their activity. The texts were written by Calin Torsan in his funny way and that`s the reason why they are so in your face. The binding was made in the street after Fabrik printed carefully the special papers.
2016 // Adverts without Capitalism. Romanian Advertising Graphics. 400+ images
The book is the result of an extensive documentation process began by Atelierul de grafica in 2012. It contains material from various publications, such as magazines, almanacs or newspapers – a rigorous selection of over 3,000 images. This is the fourth book edited and published by Atelierul de grafica on the theme of Romanian graphic design before 1989. Printed in 5 colours, the book has 176 pages and is organized in three parts. Besides the many images, the book also contains three short essays and an A2 poster.
2016 // Do you See what I See? – Roxana Ené
The volume, dedicated also to children with special needs, is one interactive book that gathers various artworks made by Roxana Ené and her team together with children form Germany and Romania, as part of the collaborative artproject Roxy & Kids Art. Each artwork brings together the child’s abstract painting and the illustrator’s drawings, which adds unexpected meanings to the splash of colours. The reader is encouraged to „continue” some of the paintings using the tracing paper provided. The book may be read as a story, may be drawn upon or may be used as inspiration source for other artworks.
2015 // 864-2014 Musical Odyssey. A History of the National University of Music, book design
The book is an anniversary album of an established university, so a classic approach was opted for, one of elegance and refined finishes, with two variants for the hardcover: one bound in linen with a folio and the other using a special cardboard. The album is part of a series of informational pieces produced on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of UNMB (The National University of Music, Bucharest).

2015 // Train Cuts @Train Delivery 2014
Train Cuts is a project initiated by Ciprian Isac as part of Rail Road Stories @ Train Delivey 2014, financed by Arcub and supported by Cărturești. Train Cuts is a classic example of reconversion; in other words, it is a plastic, graphic, sculptural intervention on a freight car that was to be disposed of. An experiment that lasted 3 days. Different shapes were cut out out of the metal sheets of the car, that folded vertically and horizonally, became pieces of furniture, exhibition space, decoration, windows. And so the wagon became a different object, with a different functionality and a different look.
Team: Ciprian Isac, Cătălin Oancea, Marius Stroe, Adrian Lulciuc (H8 Deco), Marius Purice, Alice Stoicescu, Adrian Medeleanu
