Cymatics: phenomena which appear when tone and sound meet the substance
The exhibition ”Cymatics: when Sound meets Substance” of Gabriel Kelemen, prepared by Nasui collection & gallery in Bucharest, unfolds in four stages which are corresponding to different angles of Kelemen’s study: drawings, sculptures, digigraphies and video. The study of the geometry of liquids and stationary waves is in the centre of the artist and researcher Gabriel Kelemen’s 15 years of work. The results are defined as generative art.
The event held on May 16 2015, 18.00, called ”Curators Talk & Interactive Presentation on Cymatics” will consist of a talk about Cymatics, generative art, sculpture as design held by specific curators and of an interactive presentation of the TED material of Evan Grant: Making Sound visible through Cymatics.
The event is held in Nasui collection & gallery space.
Bucuresti Nord Street, no. 15-23, Swan Technology Park, Kingston Buliding
