ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES

2015 // Airplants Terrarium
Beautifully handmade terrarium by romanian glass artisans. For a floating effect, hang terrariums at dif-ferent heights.
The lovely air plants do not need soil to live and are somewhat unpretentious. Airplants are unique plants that don`t need soil to thrive in. They use their root system to attach themselves to tree or rocks, and take in nutrients and moisture in the air through their leaves instead of their roots. They are really very hardy and require much less attention than other house plants. These plants really seam to be out of this world.

2015 // Himmeli with airplants
Himmeli sculptures are little geometric mobiles that were originally made as a Finnish Christmas ornaments, to be hung up in the house and on the tree. They were originally made to promote a good harvest. The decorations are handmade of brass and aluminium and harbour airplants, bringing uniqueness in any space, whether it is a living room, office or cafe.
