HISTORY
Balamuc consists of three visual artists from Timisoara, Livia Coloji, Razvan Cornici and Ana Kun, who individually develop projects in illustration, collage and narrative painting, and collectively in the Norm project.
SPECIFIC
Since its debut in 2014, both Balamuc group members and their guests made and posted online drawings representing responses to immediate reality without having any limitation of the subject. However, one can notice a number of recurring themes (social, political, about art and Balamuc) which led to the publishing of the album The d'Luxe Norm.

The art catalogue The d'Luxe Norm (Brumar Publishing House, Timi?oara, Point Collection, 2016) contains a selection of over 700 drawings from the online project called The Norm - one drawing a day / keeps the doctor away by the Balamuc group. It’s organized in 13 thematic chapters on various themes, about art and society, from social to political. The bilingual album has two forewords (Dana Sarmes and Dan Perjovschi), 256 unnumbered pages, 1400g, covers and jacket, and is published by the Contrasens Association, with the support of AFCN.
The d'Luxe Norm is the main collaborative project of Balamuc, used it mostly to experience ideas and deal with the everyday frustrations in quasi-anonymous drawings posted online on a daily or almost-daily basis, on the facebook page, since 2014.
