HISTORY
Carla Duschka is a graphic artist specialised in book design. She has designed all kinds of books, from albums and science textbooks to children’s books. She is a co-founder of Atelierului de grafică: a visual communication and editorial graphic design studio in Bucharest.

2018 // Visual Identity for the dance festival LIKE CNDB 2017 - (EX)CHANGING IDEAS
Visual identity for the contemporary dance festival LIKE CNDB 2017, initiated and organized by The National Centre for Dance in Bucharest (CNDB). Fourth edition, (EX)CHANGING IDEAS, March 2017.
This edition focused on dialogue between artists and a broad and diverse audience: “CNDB is meant to provide the context in which the artists and the public feel represented and have the freedom to be authentic in their expression of individual thought.” (Vava Ștefănescu, choreographer & manager of CNDB)
The image, using the arrow as symbol of movement, dialogue, exchange, energy, was designed in three colour combinations.
2018// Letters from the Front
A book full with letters, photographs, postcards and other documents from World War I.
The book, organized in four big chapters, highlights the overwhelming content of the documents, but also their beauty and diversity.
2017 // A Sweet Dream. An Illustrated Book for Children
Illustrated book - composition and graphic design for a beautiful text, written by a father and his daughter. A Sweet Dream is a story in verse, an adventure with a cautionary tinge about the tyranny of sweets.
