HISTORY
Loreta Isac was born in family of artists in Chișinau. She was raised into an artistic universe and continued her studies at the University of Arts in Iasi, she got a scholarship in Hasselt, Belgium, where she had the opportunity to mingle with various mediums:  design, animation, photography and illustration. She continued to enhance her curiosity in art, illustration and design, because art taught her to find and discover herself, illustration is a more mild form of storytelling and design because it is the only form of transposing art into consumables.

ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES

2017 // The Big-Nosed Princesses
This charming book is a proof that we still enjoy reading stories. A modern story, this time, where Princesses and super heroes, castles and palaces are being placed in an environment that is internet friendly, with adventures and beauty contests that color the picture. Maurizio Furlini is a mightily cat that tells his story as a counselor and witness to a unique transformation – three princesses will come to an understanding about the beauty and perfection of a nose. The book of Noses, published by Vellant, was written with humor by Alexandra Rusu, and illustrated by Loreta Isac.

2016 // Play Collection
„Play” is a collection that makes your legs playful on skateboard, bicicle or at the summer festival. The leggings have three different motives: holy basil, polenta and lollipop

2015 // The Story Collection
Diamond Forest brand is like an escape from the urban space into the natural one, where stories are born. It was established in 2014 and the main purpose is to create a minimalist esthetic, without reinventing form, but rather to highlight it from a simple, proper and contemporary perspective. The core of Diamond Forest is based on the natural forms of beauty and the forest as a hidden treasure of unique emotions. “The Story Collection” is a dress collection which gathers stories and illustrations made by Loreta Isac, with various themes and motifs like the forest, the man in the center of nature, moods that are defined by colors and forms, purity and dainty, unraveling a universe filled with symbols. That is why each packaging box will surprise you when you buy it with the story behind the dress.
