HISTORY
Founded in 2015, Atelier Mustaţă is a product design workshop in Bucharest. Atelier Mustaţă creates objects in their own vision, which are then taken to production in specialized workshops for limited series production. Ciprian Andrei is a law graduate and master in Communication, with 14 years of experience in media/advertising field. In 2015 he opened Atelier Mustață, a 100% Romanian brand where furniture is produced.
SPECIFIC
At Atelier Mustață, Ciprian Andrei designs and creates furniture, objects that will later became series products. The raw materials used are produced in Romania and the furniture is hand made in workshops from Bucharest. The furniture, limited edition, is sold on Romanian market, off and on-line.

2018 // Delta ceiling lamp
Inspired by sci. fi. movies, the LED ceiling lamp is designed to create a pleasant atmosphere for a modern interior. The light it creates is controllable and can be adjusted by a remote or app. When the lamp is off (during the day), the interior of the room will be filled with a minimalist, floating object.
Made of local oak wood, finished with acrylic varnish. The LED strips are embedded in aluminum boxes with matte glass. Delta lamp will be produced in limited edition, disassembled.
2018 // Chromosome ceiling lamp
Inspired by cellular and molecular biology, the LED ceiling lamp is designed to create a pleasant atmosphere for a modern interior. The light it creates is controllable and can be adjusted by a remote or app. When the lamp is off (during the day), the interior of the room will be filled with a minimalist, floating object.

2017 // Ana Bench
Ana bench is a minimalist piece of furniture, inspired by local design. It represents the standardized alternative of an improvised piece of furniture (usually build by the workers in a working site). It can be used as a low bench or as a coffee table.
Varnished pine wood.
2017 // MIU
It is an outdoor design object for the purpose of attracting small urban birds (gold crest / Eurasian blue). It was followed a natural integration of the object in the nature. It can be mounted in a tree in the garden or directly on the outside house wall. Easy to clean by open the back (magnet fixture).
2016 // Lena armchair
Inspired by the Romanian mid century modernist era, Lena armchair carries a vintage emotion back in time. Oiled ash solid wood armrests and legs. Solid fir wood framework, beech plywood inside seats/backrests. Color quality and durable upholstery. Partially disassembling furniture.
2016 // Octav armchair
Danish style inspired design, with notes of modern simple looks, Octav armchair is especially created for those relaxation moments. Color quality and durable upholstery, removable pillows. Fully disassembling furniture.
2016 // Alecu armchair vs Branea print / Fotoliu Alecu vs Matei Branea
The SK series is inspired by simple sketches. Alecu armchair is a 3D sketch that retains the contour line of an armchair and nothing more, without any fill. The contour line is represented by square steel pipe, and the printed seating as a rectangle. On the seating there is an open project for the print, a collaboration with romanian designers. Alecu armchair is a relaxation armchair and it is suited for most domestic interiors or coffee shops, waiting rooms, lounge area. Fully disassembling furniture.
2016 // Mara cofeetable
Inspired by modernist mid-century era, the design of Mara coffee table joints together simple and avant-garde forms in two kinds of wood. Solid ash wood for legs and birch wood plywood for the frame with drawer. Partially disassembling furniture.
