Daniela Gheorghiu is an Interior architect, born 16.12.1984 in Constanta, Romania.
She graduated of Ion Mincu Institute of Architecture in Bucharest, Romania Major in Interior Architecture and at the Aalborg University, Denmark and TU/e Eindhoven, Holland she completed her studies with a Msc. in Engineering specialized in Architecture and Design
SPECIFIC
The past few years have been marked by experiments in developing small designs for everyday use such as cutlery and small furniture pieces. She believes our everyday life should be surrounded by objects that tell our stories.
ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES
2017 // EN coffee table
EN Coffee table set took shape first as a personal necessity.
The two small size pieces were designed as connection elements and are destined to balance spaces, both as support furniture as well as accessory. The ensemble form, help define and complete at the same time small spaces in need of a little diversity. The mix the materials and the ratio of the elements were inspired by objects that are frequently used in homes, in order to be easier to integrate in any type of home.
