ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES
2019 // LEAN MIRROR
Lean is an adjustable table mirror. The brief's outline design had emerged from the client’s need to employ a freestanding hair salon mirror that would assist the stylists both with their work but also to establish a good relationship with their costumers. Further, the object’s scale was a very important design input. It had to be generous enough to produce a comfortably sized reflection but more importantly, the studio was aiming to achieve a well proportioned object, suitable for a wider range of uses.
The mirror’s versatility is based on its positioning, either upright or leaned back. This is achieved in principle through the careful positioning of the object’s center of mass in relation to its angled base. Thus, Lean becomes suitable for a wider range of uses and interiors across the residential and hospitality sectors. It can perform well standing on various worktop or tabletop heights, from a bathroom worktop to a counter top to a standing height desk or chest of drawers.
2017 // Play & Rewind @ Vienna Design Week // HH TABLE
