2015 // King Offices
Ana-Maria Voinescu is originally from Brasov and has graduated the University of Architecture and Urbanism “Ion Mincu” in 2010. She specializes in both architecture and interior design with award winning projects varying from urban interventions to office design.
Her style is eclectic, always evolving and pushing the boundaries of the architectural status quo. Lately she has been influenced by the clean, pure and raw Scandinavian style.
2015 // King Offices
The concept behind the project was that of a magical kingdom and the inspiration came from Nordic fairytales and the Scandinavian countryside, coming alive by mixing raw, natural elements with “cozy” materials and furniture. The challenge was to create an office space that tells a coherent story, is full of personality and is also very different from the regular corporate office design.
King, the Swedish company that commissioned this office is specialized in fun and vibrant casual games, so there was a great opportunity to marry their vision with that of the architect. The result is a magical space, a kingdom, where people can relax and be inspired in equal parts.
