Student of architecture Faculty, G.M. Cantacuzzino from Iasi, Andrei Padure is the founding member of Digital Matters.
Digital Matters is a platform for exploring the parametric modeling and digital fabrication. The passion for the use of computational processes in generating and fabricating design or architecture products was powered by the constant attendance at national and international workshops in this area.
Although the prevalence of the "digital" in the architecture area and products design is overwhelming, the interests in the studies completed focus on both controlling the model in the virtual space and in the capacity of fabricating and assembling such designs.
The materialization of this approach was visible during Street Delivery Iasi, 2013, by presenting the M17 Pavilion and the Cyrus lamp collection and following "Emergent Families" workshops from Iasi, 2013 and "Spring Species" from Bratislava 2014.
