Minus5 Architects is a collaborative design studio founded by Lebanese/Romanian architect Daniel Georges and operating with an open ended agenda in the fields of architecture, installation and experience design.
Minus5’s winning proposal ‘Green Curtain’ for the Pantelimon water tower in Bucharest follows the studio’s interest in architecture as an agent provocateur act in the city contributing to urban regeneration. With design orientations in perpetual flux within art, innovation technology and new media, Minus5 Architects started in 2011 a collaboration with the animation firm Studio Mr.White on experience design and projection mapping projects in public spaces. To date they have designed engaging shows for clients like BMW, The Unesco world heritage city of BYBLOS and the internationally renowned club SKYBAR. They lately completed an ambitious project: the super club O1NE in both Abu Dhabi and Beirut featuring a monumental 360 degrees immersive projection mapping experience.
