“I bring to your attention that the premises regarding cloth-wrapping for open-water racing are false. Full disclosure is as hard as giving birth to a stillborn.
There are two versions of expected ideas, both complicated, negative, tortured, yet still floating:
-sportswear, because sport shoes, in any color, are in; the backpack and the sweatshirt with arras motifs also; these denote a self-aware auditorium, one that does sports for the sake of it and to feel good (reason for which he wouldn't recognize some movement's artificiality, which obviously exists). This option implies both my bathing suit and a certain sensibility for architecture, also noise that needs relief.Sweetened. Liberal.-elegant clothes, for supple figures that read sport articles in '30s magazines, because they eat right without effort, have time to walk by foot, have time to comprehend certain intelectual notions.Silence, order, attention, fake sedentarism. Both options imply the shame of thinking about movement as an utility of the body, as a prothesis that sustains the shitty life that breaks its own neck. A movement destined either to pop the mechanical bubble of the day, either to wrap it in fabric.Even the journey towards a special place that holds these waterfalls of movement, of the whole body, meant to forget the geometrical postures, self-sufficient though for everyday's life; even this journey becomes some kind of giant accurate fresco, reproachful and full of retroactive feelings.
An abracadabrant image pictures, where everything seems replayable, and for infinite times: showcase sport, sport on a mechanical carpet, mall racing, darts on city's cinemas map, kite lifting under the steamed dome of the pool, a maze where all roads lead to the sand bag.
There is movement; and it can be apprehended as a grimace coming from the inside, facilitating the insight ; or it can be conceptual, more important than physical movement and the way we choose to devour it.
Hazy perspective, insipid taste, silent colors, hyperbolized shapes, matching hundreds of different cases, deflecting yet a far-cast air.
