Ancuta Sarca is a young Romanian fashion designer, based in Cluj Napoca. She is a recent graduate from Art and Design University of Cluj Napoca and currently she is working as a studio-intern for the British label Meadham Kirchhoff, in London.
Her work represents a series of experiments with hi-tech fabrics, unconventional materials and vibrant colors supported by social or cultural movement concepts. Her graduating collection “Ghetto Superstar” was based on the 90s American ghettos and the Congolese movement La S.A.P.E., her character is a "Wannabe Superstar", shining in glossy & hi-tech fabrics, mixed with childish dots garments.
