Details have always been a consistency of Cristian Samfira’s conceptual collections, ranging from petals, flowers, drapes to hand painted elements. The ready to wear AW 2014-2015 collection showcase an overall minimalist design that allow architectural details, like laser cut forms, paramterical shapes and oversize flowers, to create accessory like volumes and wearable proportions.
Set in chromatically soft tones and occasionally with some strong accents of royal blue, the pieces of the collection are built from luxurious materials like wool, silk or leather. Lines are feminine and fluid incorporating easy drapes, masculine cuts and geometrical elements creating a modern yet classical, contemporary yet understandable design. It is a proposal we make to women that want to communicate sensuality and force and are looking for clothes to flatter them and be observed by others.
