Born, raised and based in Romania, Irina started has career as a designer in her early years of study at the National University of Fine Arts in Bucharest. She started the brand working as a designer under her own label, after a 6 month internship for the Romanian designer - Venera Arapu. Soon after the internship she gets the design diploma at the annual Oribe Fashion Contest in Japan and receives the offer to work there as a designer, offer that she does not honor in order to build her own brand. Not much later she receives the Pantene New Look award for the most promissing young designer in 2002 and has her first individual show on this occasion.
Starting 2004 she has 2 shows a year, one for each season and becomes one of the most important designers on the local market.
Starting 2009 her shows start to look different as she treats the concept in a different manner and has a new perspective on her own work. For two seasons in a row she chooses to show her collections as a short movie or as a photo exibition in order to tell the story behind the clothes."
