Anna Florea is film directing graduate, who worked as an art director in advertising and as a 3D generalist and motion graphics designer in an animation and visual effects studio. She also undertakes different roles and tasks for the Anim’est International Animated Film Festival. Sometimes she illustrates. Mostly, she drinks tea.
2016 // JOY FOR NEPAL TVC (TUAN NINI & ANNA FLOREA)
Joy for Nepal was a donation campaign initiated by Romanian mountain climber Alex Gavan and Oma Vision as a proactive reaction to the 2015 earthquake to rebuild schools that were destroyed in Nepal. An animated video was created to call for donations for television and online. The main challenge was to find a good effective style, which had to be expressive, but also economical. The target of the campaign was to collect 100,000 euros in donation fund, and this was achieved at the end of the campaign. Alex Gavan is currently in Nepal, documenting the reconstruction of the destroyed schools that used the money collected through this campaign.
