He was born and he studied fine arts in Bucharest; a city bursting with subjects of inspiration for an artist. He studied graphic arts, first at the Nicolae Tonitza fine art high school, and then at The National University of Arts.

The subjects of his works are drawn from every day life and he usually portrays them in a very direct and sometimes even brutal manner. Occasionally he escapes the exhausting reality and dive into the absurd world of the imaginary. He works when he feels it is imperative to do a particular piece/drawing or when he wants to experiment with a new technique or subject. He chose to be a graphic artist, but, as many other artists, he is passionate about other mediums, so every now and then he puts a new roll of film into his camera and take to the streets, or he puts some canvas on the easel and gets lost in the act painting.
