Ostra-Berdo is less of a designer name and more of a magic brace. Inspired by the juxtaposition of minimalism, nature and geometry, this ever-involving line launched in 2012 reconstructs the discipline of the self in an organic and antithetic manner. Each object is meticulously worked by hand somewhere in Northern Transylvania. They come in manually designed packaging, together with an analogous version of their respective stories. Using the internet as a time machine and mental imagery of places of special significance to their personal histories, art director Wanda Hutira and her mom reboot pieces of material that are devoid of utility in the eyes of many.
