BEGINNINGS

I have always been concerned about the beauty of things and the need to change in this regard everything around me: interior, object, food. My passion for photography brought me to a Design University.

CAREER

At the same time with the University of Arts and Design of Cluj, I was working as a fashion photographer and then as a brand designer. Since 2005 I have been a freelancer and since 2006 I have my own studio design for interior, object, fabric design and foodstyling. I interact with several creative areas.

BRAND/BUSINESS

Adentro (interior in Spanish) interior design studio, beside it I have developed two brands: Kek & Kok and Prada Usoara. Kek & Kok is involved in food styling and Prada Usoara with costumed fabrics for furniture and clothes. They all actually make up Agnes Lukacs

TODAY

Today my clients get everything in a single service; I developed several areas to be able to offer an integrated and coherent concept. For example, if I have to design a space, everything is designed and 90% done by me starting with objects, furniture, fabrics, wallpaper, etc. This working style greatly reduces the time needed for the execution of the project. Similarly, if  I have to organize a Kek & Kok event, the beneficiary receives a everything in a single package, a fully concept, from food and setting the table to the design of the surface and accessories related to the project. My projects are 80% public, I accept a domestic project only if they fit in my style.

TOMORROW

I want to have projects of all types, to be able to work as diverse as possible, not to be in a category. To develop my brands. Of course, I work hard for it.

DESIGN MANIFESTO

RDW was exactly what it was intended to be, Romanian design concentrated in a week. It brought me an immense joy. Bucharest seemed to be nicer. The existence of this event will increase designers' desire to have more and more original works. The most important was that there were curators and they selected those works. We can see when they are not working in most of the “design” fairs in Romania. The designer in Romania is still in shadow, ideas are not tangible and because of it they are poorly paid. To grow in terms in quality, unfortunately we all depend on it: money and support of local vendors.
