BEGINNINGS
Being students in the architecture, our passion for deign dove us to initiate the design project. At the same time we hope that after finishing our studies this project can materialize in an architecture and design office.
CAREER
For us, the studies are another job, if we can refer to it as such. As beginners, it would have been easy for us to make a design object than an architecture object. We started by experimenting, combining technology with different materials, so that we'll be able to evolve with our concepts and launching it on the market.
BRAND / BUSINESS
The moto that have guided us since we built the team is to be found perfectly in the saying of Naoto Fukasawa, “Enjoy designing, it should be fun, not a job”. Participating in design events here and abroad gave us confidence in what we do, with the understanding that the things we create are truly appreciated.
TODAY
We are among the few Romanian designers producing wall clocks, but we are not able to consider ourselves successful designers. However, for the future we want to have a positive and balanced image in the creative industry in Romania.
TOMORROW
The project team ZULU is heading for a future architecture and design office, next to our colleagues in the Design Shop, without leaving the object design area, looking for a way to express ourselves.
POST RDW IMPRESSIONS
From our point of view, RDW is one of the most successful design events in Romania, if not the most relevant for the time being. We are glad that we were a part in that event, which, just like us, is trying to establish a new beginning in Romanian design.
