Dragos Motica Studio is a Bucharest based design studio working within the fields of architecture, interiors, products, graphic design and design strategy. Since his start point in 2008 the studio was awarded several times by the Romanian Association of Furniture Manufacturers and its projects have appeared in publications from Romania, Greece, Italy, Russia, China, South Korea and in several on line magazine and design and architecture webpages.

Inspired and designed for use in urban spaces, Marco is a set of furniture for cafés and bars. Made of cork, beech and beech plywood, Marco is 100% recyclable and eco-friendly. The seat’s top shape was inspired by Apple products, with the name Marco derived from the Portuguese word for apple – “março”. The word play was chosen in Portuguese as Portugal holds approx. 50% of the world’s cork production.
